Welcome 2026
Hello there salt souls, welcome to my first blog! It feels fitting to begin with a welcome to the new year - 2026. Some feel the shift of the new year when the clock turns to Jan 1st and some, myself included, feel the new year shift more at the start of the lunar new year - when nature begins to awake from her deep slumber. Over the cooler months, I tend to mimic the natural world around me. I slow things down (the best I can in this era), I allow space to dream and envision possibilities, and I nourish myself for the unfurling seasons ahead. As a creative, this is often my favorite time - the season of being and dreaming. It's a place where expectations and timelines release their grip a bit. A place where I can give myself and life a little extra grace.
However there is also a rising tide of anticipation for the new year to begin. A fresh wind, new chapter, fresh soil to grow these seed dreams in. I get excited to see how things will unfold and grow as I nourish the garden of this year ahead. Eager to see the unexpected fruits of how my garden may be used in this co-creation. This year my vision has followed its natural tendencies of widening the frame while highlighting the things that matter. I'm so excited to share with you projects and offerings in this new light!
